We recognize it is the responsibility of each parent to determine if it is safe to transport their children to CCLC during inclement weather.

It is our responsibility to ensure the safety of our staff. When necessary, we will open on a two hour delay to allow time for the roads to be treated. We may also close early, when necessary, to get everyone home safely. Occasionally, during severe weather, we are closed all day.

CCLC strives to meet the needs of parents who must work regardless of the weather.

We are often open when Rappahannock County Public Schools (RCPS) are closed. Enrolled CCLC School Age Enrichment Program children may attend CCLC for an additional daily rate. Preschool students (not daily enrolled) who are with us when the public school is closed will also be charged the daily rate. These fees will be applied to your tuition bill.

The Child Care & Learning Center is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization that has been serving families in Rappahannock County since 1976.
